The date of next years Street Parade has been officially confirmed! The world’s largest and most exciting electronic music-parade will take place on Saturday, 12 August 2006. Another record will be broken marking the 15th consecutive year of its presence in Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city. The Street Parade will retain its position as the largest global open-air party in the world.

Love Mobile Applications Now Open

Those wishing to apply for presence through a Love Mobile during SP 2006 may now register and submit a request, Applicants should be involved in the electronic and/or dance music scene. A jury will be overseeing the selection process - 30 love mobile spaces are available for the parade. We welcome international applications and wish you all the best of luck in your effort to be present. You will find the link for the registration here: Downloading registration form (PDF).

The Street Parade Organization Committee, all love mobile participants and supporters wish to say THANK YOU for once again making the Zurich Street Parade the most beautiful, colorful and far-out parade in the world.

We will do everything in our power to make the streets of Zurich quake again next year and are already looking forward the best day of the year. The exact date will be announced this autumn.

WHWN AND WHERE

Date

The 14th Street Parade is to be held on saturday, 12 of august 2006, kicking off at 3.00 pm and ending at 10.00 pm. About 100 mega- and smaller-scale parties will be held in and around Z?rich over the Parade weekend, from friday evening right through to the early hours of monday morning.

Warm-ups

The Street Parade warm-up parties will kick off at 1:00pm and the following locations: Start-Area (Utoquai), Opernhaus, Bellevue, Limmatquai, B?rkliplatz, Kongresshaus VIBIC, Rentenanstalt (Underground), Enge (Lake-Floor).

Route

The 2.4 km–long Street Parade route will be the same as in the previous year. The Street Parade will begin at 3.15 pm at Utoquai in the Z?rich neighbourhood of Seefeld, from where it will head around the lakefront via Bellevue, Quaibr?cke and B?rkliplatz, arriving at Hafendamm Enge at around 10 pm. The fun will continue at the after-parties at Opernhaus, Bellevue, B?rkliplatz, Rentenanstalt and Limmatquai until midnight. The entire Street Parade route can be easily reached on foot from the city centre or the central station.

There is a an informal gathering of artists and independent artist groups that will be held this MOnday the 11th of April at 8 pm at the House of Blues, it is in coordination of the House of Blues Art Foundation in Mandalay Bay's willingness to connect with the local communites of artists and musicians in Las Vegas.

All are welcome... the concept is basically networking and loosely moderated discussion about how we might work together to enhance and support each other's events. Some good topics on the agenda for Monday.

Dream CO(llective)...a conscious cause

So, many of you may be familiar with me from parties, fire performances, various sexual astrology posts, or pleas for rides between LA and San Francisco. It's possible that I've talked to (or at!) you about Dream Co(llective) and how I want to establish a travelling higher conscious show with organic food, conscious music, psychedelic art, clothing and cool shit made from recycled materials, along with information on alternative ways to live outside the box, eat healthy, heal yourself naturally, etc. All broadcast by pirate radio/internet radio of course, and transported by bio-diesel buses.

Now, I want to leave every party I throw open to donations, let people pay what they can afford so everyone who wants to, gets to come. If you know me, you know I do my work with astrological guidance and Goddess oracle advice on the same principle, helping people comes first and everything else is secondary. So here's what I'm trying to do...below is a list of some of the skills I have. It's not all of them, just the ones I can think of right now. I've lead a diverse, crazy and highly nomadic lifestyle with one of the strangest array of work skills of anyone I know, so if you need something done, chances are I can do it. I'm offering my skills in exchange for any help at all with making this dream a reality:

-Astrologer -specializing in the astrology of human sexuality and relationships
-Tarot card reader -The Goddess Guidance Oracle cards, which are source of feminine wisdom and guidance.

-Talent agent - specializing in fire artists, drummers, jugglers, circus talent, etc.
-PA (both production assistant and personal assistant)
-Gourmet chef:including vegetarian and raw
-Film editor (AVID system)
-House/pet sitter
-Dog walker
-Horse groomer
-Pirate radio station DJ/owner
-Club DJ
- Medical marijuana work
-Secretary (type 65 words per minute average speed)
-Transcriber
-Carpenters assistant, drywall assistant, painter, gardener, various other manual labor jobs

-Tutor for ESL students and children

I'm hoping to throw the first Dream CO(llective) show on 4/20. Keep checking the Dream CO(llective) tribe dreamcollective.tribe.net/
for updates. So spaces to throw BY DONATION parties (which means cheap or free, preferably!) lighting, money, materials, laptops, transport, equipment (preferably attached to people who want to come and check it out) positive energy and the desire to bring up the level of awareness in humanity, etc are all things that we could really use. The first cause we want to fundraise for is a digital video camera that is open to be used by whoever in the Dream CO(llective) needs it for higher conscious causes to be recorded.

I'm aware that this is a long shot, but I want all those little places that have no clue what Burning Man is all about to have their eyes opened, too. We coastal communities are lucky because we have information sources to enlighten us and open our eyes. I'd like the rest of North America to get that same chance.
